DJ Chesty first got into Hardcore in 97 listening to old Helter Skelter tapes from his uncle after listening to slipmatt,demo,dougal and hixxy he was hooked on the sound of hardcore. He attended his first rave at Devestation in Cardiff 2002 but wanted to be more than a raver in the crowd and to take up the art of mixing himself to play in front of the crowds he once raved in. He started out with his mate Adam Lee and after getting a pair of cheap decks learned the art of mixing well adam stuck to the mic after months of practice a local promoter gave chesty a chance of seeing how well he could play out it went well and went onto more bookings and from then started making more demos and sending one off for a dj comp for westwern wheels Car show.The event holding 20,000 people was a huge confidence boost and turning point for Chesty to get his head down and make something of the DJing. He now plays for local events such as Atomic,Rude Awakening,Entity,Nemesis and playing on internet radio stations hardcore regime and hardcore revolution and is bi-monthly resident DJ for local Hardcore event P.T.T.C. He is progressing with his mixing all the time playing oldskool,hardcore and hard dance he is looking forward to the new year!

Chesty recently played at gatecrasher in his local town in the hardcore room for rude awakenin.

Also booked for newports biggest hardcore event atomic in the cotton club on 19th jan.
